T'Sehn emerged from the back room, a surgical tray in hand with an array of scanning devices for Doctor D'BrooNi who was currently looking over Commander Tobru, Doctor Lyras and Ensign Adams.

"It was just a moment of nausea on the freighter Doctor, I have put it down to the planetary environment and the battle combined" the Klingon Hybrid put his head down on the pillow of the biobed as the Doctor approached.

"I'll be the judge of that Ensign. It takes a lot to make someone with Klingon DNA vomit," she commented taking scans..

"That freighter was quite hot." Tia admitted. "I don't think he's had his environmental controls calibrated in some time. Although I have had a little tickle in my throat, but I believe that to be my imagination playing tricks on me."

"The freighter was hot," Lyras admitted, "but I got covered in those samples before we boarded. I have salvaged as much as I could. " He failed to mention that Tia too had been sprayed as she had been close by. "Those scratches however are really starting to burn." He brought his hand up to his cheek to rub at the claw mark there, then rubbed his arm where three parallel lines were very visible against his olive skin.

"You two look to have a mild infection similar to the starting's of a fever. I'm going to give you something to combat that and then I want you both to go have a rest and a good nutritionally balanced meal," she told the security chief and the Ensign.

"You I'm much more concerned about. How did you get these scratches?" she asked. "Nurse T'ellen can you replicate the Lieutenant some proper clothes. You cannot be comfortable in that."

"Kzinti attack," the hybrid doctor answered, "regrettably, I had to kill him or he would have done that to me instead. The smaller ones, probably debris from the glass vials when they were destroyed during the blast." He offered the faintest of smiles, his blue eyes bright with fever. "Scrubs, even alien ones, are remarkably comfortable doctor. Wearing a shirt however, was not."

"That cat got what was coming to him." Tia pointed out as a hiss came from her neck, a nurse having gave her the hypo to stop this fever in its tracks and then shrugged. "On a planet with questionable morals I'm surprised we only got into two fights."

"Was it two or just one that kept on giving?" Adams asked with a lopsided grin as he stood, pulling his uniform tunic back on.

"Maybe one with a large intermission." Tia chucked at the upbeat reply from Adams.

Lyras shook his head, closing his eyes as the movement made the room spin. "First do no harm," he quoted, his voice betraying something wasn't right, "I killed someone, I caused harm to another. Yes he attacked me, but killing him was unnecessary."

"We came up against the Kzinti myself and Commander Horn when we served on the Dark Phoenix," Mel commented. "They nearly killed several people. The poision in their claws. Obviously we have the antidote now but at the time it was one of the first times starfleet had encountered them. They are not friendly and I fear Lieutenant," she looked at Lyras, "That they will attempt to avenge anyone you killed."

"We will treat your scratches for poison. Hopefully that's not mutated in 20 or so years. I do not believe that Starfleet have had many interactions with them since. I mean what we do know is still very little. What if there's other types of poison or they figured out a way to utilise their natural abilities further."

Lyras offered her a weak smile. "Then I guess I am your guinea pig," he tried to joke, "I killed one without the intention to. I was defending myself as he chose to attack me." He closed his eyes. "I do not feel well....I am so tired...."

"Come lie down then," Mel said. "It doesn't matter the intention. Those beings, they hold grudges. Nurse get the computer synthersizing the antidote on file. You two. Nutritious meal. Doctors orders. Then to your quarters for a nap. I will release you at this point but if it gets worse you let me know."

Obediently, the younger doctor lay back, eyes still closed. "I can defend myself," he promised, his voice softening. "Can I sleep or do I need to stay awake?"

Adam's didn't need telling twice. He turned nodding once at Lyras and then Commander Tobru, the pair leaving the Infirmary at the same time leaving the Doctor
