ON:

Niska wasn't planning on this at all, but it was a shame to waste the outfit. After all it wasn't easy to get into it, although quite the opposite getting out of it.

Pressing the chime, she boldly opened her jacket and shrugged. "We had a stag do in. And I didn't get to dance. They all got stuck into something called "footloose". Crazy Terrans. Who is this Kevin Bacon person? Causing a ruckus of silly men supposably dancing in my bar ...." she asked seriously.

As Tia opened her door she was greeted by the sight of a lovely green beauty in a not so modest dress. For a moment Tia was caught off guard, the muffled sounds of Niska's voice becoming clear.

She stepped aside and invited Niska in. "I'm sorry, what? Do you want bacon?" she asked with a strange look on her face as she'd only heard the end of the woman's opening words to her.

Niska pecked her lips on the other womans. "If I wanted Bacon I would be at his door wearing this and wanting too not be. He's polite enough for a Terran but," she moved her lips to next to Tia's ear. "he's nothing to you."

The quick kiss gave Tia goosebumps, the outfit gave her other ideas as well. Was this what Humans called a 'booty call'?

The whisper in her ear caused her to melt. "Well, I am very happy that you think so." she said taking her hands and leading her to the couch for the time being. "You look stunning." she added taking Niska in, in all her glory.

"I try," she winked at her while shrugging off the jacket so she could have the full effect of the dress. It pulled in just the right places as she sat down.

"So, this is where you live?" she looked round crossing her legs and leaning into her. It was pretty barren. "May I suggest it needs some more colour."

Tia did look around the room, it was pretty dull, there was no question of that. "I don't have anything really to add to it yet..." she said with a hint of sadness. "Apart from my jacket." she nodded to the long red leather coat hanging over the back of a chair. "I guess it is good you came along... I've always thought the place needed a bit of green to make it more homely."

"Niska does more than just "homely", the hybrid Orion giggled slightly but caught the other woman's sadness. "I will get you a housewarming gift. That will help with the colour. But how do we cheer you up?"

"Having you here is already cheering me up. You don't need to get me a gift, you are the only gift I need." Tia said placing her hand in Niska's.

"Then unwrap me," Niska whispered.

Tia's eyes lit up and a smile formed on her face. An invite as open and enticing as that could not be wasted.

Fade to black...

Still a little out of breath Tia traced her fingers along Niska's arm. She could see the goosebumps rise a little, the hairs on her arm fight against their want to rise up. They were both just happy in their moment and Tia looked up at her. "I'm happy you stopped by."

The green alien smiled and nuzzled the nearest limb to her. "Me too. I still want to go on a proper date though. Please do not think this is all I was interested in," she added. She had lost Aer not declaring that upfront. She refused to lose the chance of a further girlfriend by giving into fear.

"I don't think this was all you were interested in. I am as much an empath as you." Tia commented. "I would like to go out with you, but I've not been on a date in nearly 3 decades." She admitted. "Is there anything you like to do?"

"3 Decades. Well that's got to be a record. You know what, I haven't got out much myself in the last few years. Building the business took priority. What is there to do on this station?" Niska asked

"An enemy occupation of the whole quadrant will do that to you." Tia smiled a quick smile before thinking about it for a split second. "Too much time fighting... surviving..." she added as her eyes glazed over.

Shaking her head she looked back at the green beauty in front of her. "Sorry, I get lost in my head sometimes. Anyway, what to do... you know this station better than me? Aside from restaurants, romantic walks and stargazing maybe? I get lost in the stars sometimes."

"Do you dance? I believe there's talk of starting some classes," Niska said. "I mean I know you have some moves," she raised her eyebrows smiling, "But I figure I should expand my repertoire. Orion dance is all I really know. And getting to twirl you round seems a very attractive idea."

"What makes you think you'll be the one doing the twirling?" Tia asked as a smirk began to form at the side of her mouth. "I used to love dancing. I could definitely move with grace and poise when I was younger. Still got a few moves I can discover with the right partner."

"Well then .... I look forward to you twirling me on the dance floor .. or anywhere else," Niska smiled.

"I know there is a club down on the lower decks called The Vault... I think some Ferengi took over an old bank. Take what irony you will from that." Tia joked a little. "It doesn't have the best reputation, clientele-wise but its low enough to have a good time without too many rules."

"What an interesting concept for a name," Niska said. "Of course bad reputations and clientele can lead to interesting situations. Shall we explore it for our first date?" the green skinned alien asked.

"I would be a bad security chief if I didn't check out the bad elements of the ship... of duty of course. I think it sounds like a good place to have fun and forget the world upstairs for a while." Tia said as she placed a hand on Niska's arm then slowly slid it down as she felt her smooth skin.

"That's true," Niska said. "And you only get to be bad with me," she grinned throwing the covers back.

"But before I take you to heaven again, its bothering me. Computer who is this Kevin Bacon and what is footloose?"

"Beats me." Tia shrugged. "Sounds like a horrible exercise to me." Then they enveloped each other once again.
