Mission: Episode 6 - Point Of Enlightenment
Location: Haistro quarters
Timeline: Sometime after "Contiagon 5"

ON:

The last thing Charlie remembered was one of them putting something on her and it going in her mouth. She had gagged and splayed her arms out. Anything to try stop it.

But it got in and then she felt it making its way to her brain stem. It was icky and it felt so alien. If this was what it was like to be joined, she certainly wanted nothing of it. It was highly unlikely as a half trill she would be considered anyway.

“Nooooo” she shouted her hands coming up to the sides of her head and pressing. It was starting to go dark.

And that’s all she remembered. She kept coming too and then panicking realising it wasn’t a dream. She had full awareness for a couple of minutes – it was like it recharged its strength to the try again.

She could feel the ache from the earlier phaser shot. Her brain replayed the last things before this hell started. Keiben and Tam. Both beloved and trusted. But they weren’t themselves. They must have one controlling them too.

It wriggled inside of her neck more violently, she assumed trying to beat down the time she had that sense of awareness. Was it getting stronger?

She woke up again. Then realised she got longer. Perhaps four minutes this time. It was possibly tiring.

After about the tenth time of this she rationalised, there was something about her that it wasn’t compatible with. It was fighting for control and continued to do so although its energy ability to do so was questionable now. She needed to get out of the room, find another person who could help. It didn’t like that. The next few times she woke up she focused on increasing the steps towards the door. But now she was tiring as well.

“You have to keep fighting,” she hissed to herself.

Then the door opened.
