Arriving on the morning's transport was so exciting for Abrasax as he hadn't even been in the Briar Patch before, to top it off he hadn't even been onboard a Cardassian station either. A journey of firsts for the young science officer as he walked off the transport into the docking port corridor and made his way through the corridors genuinely following the others.

He had studied the Nor class station as Starfleet has Deep Space 9 and so the technical side of things were getting easier for the crew. Abrasax was excited to use Cardassian science systems, though he hoped there was Starfleet technology augmentation as well.

On the Promenade, Abrasax looked around at the people and the station interior itself. Many shops and crowds going on, he would check them out later once he got settled.

"Hello, welcome to DS21," a voice brought him back to the officer in front of him.

Abrasax smiled and offered his free hand. "Hello, thank you, I'm Assistant Chief Science Officer Abrasax reporting aboard."

"Fantastic, thank you for coming so quickly. Let's get you to the Infirmary for your medical check in." They shook his hand.

Abrasax nodded. "Of course, lead the way," he replied and as they walked around the busy Promenade, he couldn't help but gawk at the visiting people that were from species he hadn't encountered before. Though he quickly recovered when they made eye contact with him.

They arrived in the Infirmary and after a time Abrasax made his way to his quarters. The computer was helpful in providing him with its location.

He began to unpack quickly as the computer also provided the times and location of the Office of his superior along with when they are available.
