The Betazoid was moving with purpose as he entered Ops, pointing at Junjie and indicating he should follow as Keiben approached Tamaska.
"Could I borrow you and Commander Han for a moment?"

Junjie looked to Keiben with a curious expression and got up to follow as indicated and fell in step next to Tamaska. " I wonder what this is about? " He asked her.

Tamaska followed after Keiben, "I may have missed some details on my report. It has been a bit busy getting the repairs done." she said in answer to Junjie. "Also could be some details to discuss as he's got a wedding anniversary to plan."

She moved up to Keiben, alongside Junjie, "So... have you made any plans for your wedding anniversary with Mel?"

"At this point there won't be one and its inappropriate for you to ask Captain!" Keiben snapped as he lead them both up the short flight of steps to the Captains Office.

Tam raised an eyebrow at this, "Inapprorpiate sir?" her voice having a biting edge to it. "With my being in the postition that I am in now, I do need to adjust details in order to clear your docket and make certain the two of you are undisturbed. Or even know where to get hold of you in case of an emergency. We've known each other long enough that I do not presume and I do go according to regulations." another look at Keiben. "You sir may need some time away from the station as you have been under a lot of stress."

"You are treading a very fine line right now Captain... Do not make me regret promoting you!"
Out of respect the Commodore didn't move behind the desk, it was after all Captain Holts office but he did turn, still feeling an almost over powering anger, something he needed to get a handle on.
"Commander Han, you are the science officer assigned to this station are you not?"

Junjie straightened up and looked Keiben in the eye. " Of course I am Commodore, is everything alright?
Tam and I have known you for quite awhile now and I've never seen you this stressed before. Is there anything I can do to help? " He asked.

"Then please explain to me why we are situated in a star system with four planets, only one of those planets has had a survey meaning seventy five percent of this very star system is still unexplored?"
He rubbed the back of his neck feeling as if he was struggling to breath and it helped.

Junjie seemed taken back a bit briefly. " As you well know Sir, The Copernicus has barely been cleared for duty and is being re-provisioned and the survey teams and crew are making ready for departure and should be ready to depart within seventy two hours. There was also the delay because you had the science and engineering teams working together to back up the secondary computer core due to the maintenance problem we were experiencing, you ordered us to do such sir. " Stated Junjie with a tone of respect in his voice and concern showing upon his face.

"You have six hour and they started the moment I entered Ops... Do I make myself clear Lieutenant Commander?"
Keiben saw out of the corner of his eye that Tam was inhaling as if to say something but he lifted a hand in a stop motion. "You'll have your turn in a moment, until then you speak once you are spoken to!"
His eyes returned to Junjie.

" Six hours? " Junjie asked looking rather shocked. " Very well Commodore, I shall order it as you have instructed. Some of the scientific equipment for the survey is currently enroute to the station on federation transports and will be here the day after tomorrow to replace the items we lost during the Romulan attack. As I stated I will do as you've ordered, But I will posting an objection in the log due to safety concerns. As a man of science yourself you know the importance of being properly prepared for a mission. That and I'm concerned right now, I have never seen you so angry before. As your friend if there is something I can do to help then please let me know. "

"Noted... You now have five hours fifty five minutes!" his eyes like ice, his expression beyond granite. "Move Commander, now, get out of my sight!"

Junjie's eyes narrowed. " Understood SIR! " He turned to look at Tam. " Take care and I love you. I'll contact you later. " With that said he turned and walked out of the office.

Just before Junjie left the office, Tamaska went up, and pulled him against her giving him a rather passionate kiss. Right now she wasn't going to let him go out with out one. Sure she was going to hear about it from Keiben, but right now Tamaska was pissed, she whispered to Junjie,"come back safe love." then she stepped back and let her husband leave.

Junjie embraced his wife and placed his forehead to hers. " I'll be back, don't you worry about that. There is nothing that can keep me from coming back to you. " And with one more brief kiss he walked out of the door.

Keiben watched the Science Officer leave, the large doors sliding closed behind him with a metallic hiss and click. Slowly he turned his attention back to Captain Holt, the same steely expression in place.
"You may want to put on the privacy blinds Captain!" he said, waving his hands at the large windows.

"Indeed I will, Sir." she growled out. Tamaska was angry and no one needed to see or hear her and Keiben get into a confrontation.

The glass shifted from transparent to opaque in the blink of an eye and as Tam was turning he moved, swiftly. Grabbing her shoulders, twisting her around, his mouth forced open as two long pincer like prongs started to push away from within his mouth.

Tamaska was shocked to feel the steely strong grip that Keiben had placed upon her shoulders then to see something coming out of his mouth! She quickly raised her arms abruptly, to loosen his grip dropping to the floor. She rolled out of the way, scrambling to get clear from the Commodore, who seemed be very intent on cornering her! What the hell was that thing? For a brief moment Tamaska kept the table between her and Keiben, she was angling to get her hold out phaser she had hidden nearby.

Taking a chance she dove to retrieve it, finding the slot empty. Her eyebrows raised, she looked towards Keiben then slumped to the floor, feeling all of her neurons scrambled, her slipping away to darkness, the last thing she remembered seeing was that thing making its way towards her.
