The earlier informal meeting with Chief Stoun and the others, had given Amalia a chance to see the other crew members, she'd hopefully be working with. However being on Gamma shift may make it difficult to meet the others in a more, casual way. Amalia was determined though, in getting to know the others, even if it might mean some loss of sleep. There was one that hadn't been too vocal during the meeting, it was Ensign Adams. There had been talk about him having been on the ship when the attack had occurred, and she didn't know just how to approach him. Also, even though it seemed she'd not taken notice of him during the meeting, she did notice him. Determined to rectify not speaking to him, Amalia asked the computer to help her locate Ensign L'johk Adams, and once that was done she'd drop by where ever he was at, to strike up a conversation. Maybe get him to have a drink with her?

"Ensign L'johk Adams is in the Gym, deck three" came the swift and sterile reply from the computer.

And that is where Amalia went. She stepped inside, took a look around and when she spotted L'johk, she drew slightly near to where she could observe at first, what he was doing. It was one way for her to find out about him, in some aspect.

The Mok'bara had been something his father had taught him, the Klingon form of martial arts. It was strength and grace coming together in a confluence of rhythms and movement. It also helped to focus ones own being, something he needed in abundance at the moment. His Human half betraying him with its weakness, even if his Klingon half was not dominant within his personality, it was still a matter of pride for him to keep his emotions in check, something he had been failing at for some time now.

He twisted and spun with a grace that did not match his physical form, his vest top loose but still clinging to him in place where he had started to perspire. It was now he spotted the arrival of someone watching him intently.

"I'm sorry, do you want this space?"

"No not really, I came to see you." Amalia deciding to be direct, her eyes having already panned over his physique then up to his blue eyes. "Mok'bara? Is that what you were practicing? I've seen some others practicing it back at the academy. I had interest in learning but never really got the chance to do so, because I got pulled off to do projects." giving a bit of a smile.

"It is and the holodeck has a good training routine... Maybe you should load that up when you have chance".
He turned, intent on going back to his workout, tensing and stretching out his right arm before cottoning on to something she had said... "Why did you want to see me Chief?" he asked as he began his graceful movements once more.

"Well, I saw you at the meeting with Chief Stoun, and I, really didn't have the chance to talk to you. Nor really have the chance during the repairs to the ship. It was more of, hi bye, next shift taking over the next part of the ship repairs, just to make certain people got sleep, even if they didn't want it." she gave a bit of a shrug. "Now that the ship is flying, and we're not as busy as we have been. I wished to get to know you better besides the quick formality of hi and bye." giving a slight laugh.

"Oh!" L'johk offered indifferently.

'Stop being so stand-off-ish and prickly! he chastised himself, still feeling a touch out of sorts after his meeting with the Chief.

"I'm sorry Chief, I've just been having a bit of a hard time the last week or so... Don't let my discontent push you away... It would be good to make a few new friends out of the new compliment!"

Amalia just shrugged, "I would be a bit out of sorts with.. repairs to a ship which had faced a thousand hells in one whack. Especially with you being there, when all hell broke loose. I won't poke at your wound, unless you want to talk about it. I won't, sit there and ask questions after questions as to how you feel about what happened. It's there, I can see it in your eyes." Amalia walking up closer but not too close so as to not get in the way of him doing his katas. One corner of her mouth quirked up with a bit of a smile.

He stopped his exercise when he spotted the lop sided smile, it suited her more than he could rightly put into words, and by sto-vo-kor she was beautiful!
"What's the smile for?"

Amalia quickly ran her hand over her mouth, causing the smile to disappear, but there was an impish twinkle in her eyes. "Smile? What smile?" then the corner of her mouth lifted up once more, followed by the other corner. "Well blast it, I am being betrayed by my mouth." she laughed, "The smile is just because I like seeing you, and your moves are poetry in motion."

Is she coming on to me?

Unable to smother the smile that tugged at the corners of his own mouth as well, he gave in and just let it consume the dire expression he had been harbouring for days.
"Come on, let me show you some moves!"

"Woot!" Amalia exclaimed, "Sounds great to me! Where would you like me to stand? Show me the way. Wait, hold that thought." quickly taking off her boots then socks and putting them to the side out of the way. She came back to stand near Adams. "Okay, now I am ready."

Adams came around her so he was behind, using his own legs to nudge her legs into the correct position and wrapping his arms around her torso from behind so he could place her hands and arms in the correct starting position... "There, now follow me lead!"
Once she was in the right place he stepped away she he could face her again. Mirrored her position and slowly started to move, bringing his arms around into a combative pose. His forward arm arched upwards ever so slightly while his rear arm brought up over his head, both hands balled into fists.

Feeling the warmth of his body behind her, and his arms around her, even though it was just to show her the correct positions, it caused Amalia's heart to speed up. It sure felt nice, however there was a lesson to be learned and Amalia needed to concentrate. She mirrored Adam's motions, paying attention to the details, as he led her through the stances. Amalia could feel herself dropping into the zone where, everything was heightened, synchronicity was happening.

"Thats it but make sure you maintain a strength to the movements. These are actually the corner stone to Klingon martial arts, each move needs to become a fluid muscle memory!"
He indicated his right arm, the one closest to her. "See, I'm not relaxing my arms, the muscle's are ready to strike... muscle memory!"

Amalia nodded, stopped for a moment to get a better view of the arm and muscle. "Uh may I?" reaching out to feel the tautness of his muscle as he held the pose, then she went back into position closing her eyes as she focused in her mind just how the arm muscle were to be.

He was losing his concentration, her scent filling his mind with thoughts not befitting a Starfleet Officer. He again shifted, this time wrapping his arm around her waist and gently pulling her closer.

Amalia's eyes snapped open, feeling his arm about her waist, her heart once more starting to race. She didn't resist L'johk's pull towards him, thinking that he might be getting ready to show her another maneuver. When she found herself up against his body, Amalia turned slightly to where she could look up into his eyes. The man was definitely taller than she was and so magnificent.

"Tell me if I'm out of order!"
He said in a whisper before pressing his lips against hers.

Amalia's only answer was her lips pressing against his, returning the kiss. One hand reached up to run her fingers through his hair, while the other slipped around his waist. Moulding herself against Adams, losing herself in the moment.
