Keiben watched as the other exited the room, waving to keep Tam in the room to assist with his train of thought.
"Lieutenant, take a seat... I wanted to get your tactical assessment of the situation... and yours Tam. I'm a scientist and this situation is fascinating me no end but I am not a tactician!"

“This station is not ready for any kind of fight” Sher’ra said, figuring she’d get right to the point, “we might be able to hold off any boarders onto the station, but the station itself wasn’t exactly in the best of conditions before this all happened”

Tamaska nodded in agreement. "We're having to work out who will be where as we've got a few places to cover. Both on the station as well as on the ships we have."

“If I may, I’d recommend moving everyone and everything we can to the central core and fortifying the area” Sher’ra said wanting to get everyone somewhere where the security and Marines could keep them safe, “as for the ships, it might just be as safe to have them keep away from the station and send us their sensor feeds”

"We have a headcount of approaching eight hundred now and most of our defensive capabilities are on the docking ring... Bring the civilian population in from the Habitat ring. Starfleet personnel are to remain armed at all times but we need operations across the station to remain mobile... The science teams especially. They are our only hope of finding a way home".
He offered a weak smile at the pair. Tam his right hand and Sher'ra a more than qualified Tactical Officer. "Lieutenant... A thought comes to mind and I want your take on it... You are a tactical officer at your core... How would you feel, once we have her back about moving to Cerberus as her Chief Security and Tactical... You are wasted here sheparding the Civilians!"

Sher’ra’s Eyes lit up at the idea of being on a starship again, but just as she was about to jump at the chance, a little bit of paranoia wormed it’s way into the back of her mind, “um, forgive me for asking, but have I done something wrong? Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to be back in my element but I just get the feeling I’m being sidelined. Of course ether way I’ll be more than happy to take the position if that’s where you think my skills would be better used, I just want to be sure that I haven’t messed up in some way”

Tamaska shook her head, "No you haven't messed up at all. We just feel that your strength is more on the line of being on a ship. Not that you are doing a bad job on the station, but, we need you to be there on the Cerberus. Also another thing I would like to ask, would you be willing to be the Assistant Chief of Security when you are not on the Cerberus. Your experience would be invaluable in that capacity as well."

Thinking it over for a moment, Sher’ra nodded, “of course. May I assume Lieutenant Tobru will be taking over?”

"That is what we are thinking of." Tamaska responded, "And this will work out the best in the long run."

Giving a sigh, Sher’ra looked up at the two senior officers, “I’m sorry I couldn’t meet your expectations and I swear to you on my honour I will serve the Cerberus with distinction”

"Sher'ra, it isn't that, and you did meet our expectations. We are moving people around to where they can best serve where we really need them. Assistant chief of security, is an important position as well. You know the people better, and with you knowing them it makes you a key person. Believe me, I had been an assistant chief of Security before, and it is a very, very important position."

Tamaska mused, "Lieutenant Tobru is from another time, another universe and putting her in this position would also help get her situated in this timeline.
And you are the only one that we can truly ask to be in this position, this dual position. Don't consider this as a punishment, instead it broadens out your experience and just think you will be able to go out in the ship plus also work on the station."

"Sher'ra," Keiben started "you have nothing to apologise for and you have not in any way dissapointed us. Your talent is tactical systems and starship security... The Station just seems the wrong match for you but Cerberrus will be assigned to many missions and I need the right people in place to keep her safe. In my mind its a no brainer that you are the right fit!"

Taking a few deep breaths as she let things process in her mind, Sher’ra eventually nodded, “ok, I understand” she said before reaching into her pocket and pulling out the sheriffs badge she’d been given, “I guess I should carry on the tradition”
