Mission: Episode 4 - The Fires Of Hades
Location: Operations - Commanders Office
Timeline: Mission Day 1 @ 1215 Hours

ON:

The green half Orion waited patiently to see this new commanding officer. She sincerely hoped he was more personable than Captain Harrington. That man had been a fish out of water with no clue on how to handle civilians.

At least getting an appointment had been easier on account of there not being hundreds of Starfleet crew yet on this station.

The doors to the Captains Office parted as Liam left and he could see a striking Orion women moving through Ops who obviously had an acquaintance with Liam. He watched the two chat for a moment, keeping his doors open as it would be unusual for a Civilian to be in Ops unless they had intended to speak with him directly. Thinking about it, maybe he needed to institute a directive to keep Civilians out of Ops entirely!

"Captain, don't worry I shall not take up much of your time and I realise it's unusual to have a civilian come see you here but I did request an appointment and followed the protocol that well was laid out to me by the last captain on the last station I called home. My name is Niska and cutting straight to the point. You are going to need a bar here. I'm a bar tender. A dam good one and I have latinuim to buy/rent a space on the promenade if you will grant that," she told him.

"Miss Niska... You don't need to ask. Your reputation proceeds' you and I would be happy for you to take a space on the promenade. Coordinate with Lieutenant Verona our Chief Of Security, select the location you want and we can come to terms at a later stage!"
Thankful that the station was starting to come to life, surprisingly quickly as well. He could only assume that Niska had been on one of the rescue ships.

Well that was a lot easier than she had thought it. This man sure wasn't Harrington she mused.

"Thank you. I will. It will be a great bar I promise. Somewhere all your officers can relax and any visitors you might get. I will ensure you get a VIP invitation to my opening," she smiled at him.

"How quickly can you get set up Miss Niska... We don't have any latinum to pay you at the moment but there is a wedding reception in the next few days... Could we call on you as caterer?"

Keiben asked more out of curiosity than anything else but quietly hopeful that he had just fixed one problem to the big impending day.

"I have plenty of latinuim Captain," Niska said. "I left for my reasons but now I need to find my new home and I feel I can help your people in doing so with there's. I can do what I can. I am always open to a challenge. In fact I make dresses too if you would like to send the bride my way."

"In that case I might suggest you seek out Doctor D'BrooNi... and could you give her this for me as well!"
He slipped a small box across the desk to the Orion women before him. Command was once again putting on a little pressure to have her promoted to Lieutenant Commander and he had to start working on her to accept.

Niska looked at the small box. Maybe he was giving his bride some jewelry or something as a gift. Aliens had their traditions after all. "I will Captain," she nodded. "Have a good day."

"Don't hesitate to speak to me or one of my officers should you need anything. A pleasure to meet you as well!"
Keiben stood to show her to the door.
