ON

As the lights of the transporter beam faded away those who were upon the Yosemite find themselves in the dark grey interior of what looks like DS9 without the cheery colors of Bajor and other details. There was illumination from the round light fixtures above in the ceiling.

Tamaska looked around quickly to do a head count of those there. "Is everyone here?", as she checked to see whom had arrived. "Everyone in one piece?" then she remarked. "Okay we have air that is breathable." Tamaska stating the obvious.

"We've got a door here near us, is anyone registering any life forms?" she asked those with her.

"What the hell just happened." Jon who had been staring at a console took a second to let his eyes adjust.

Jaas'rah was in shock, surrounded by even more people he had never met and still holding the child who had started to tumble when the deck had started to quake.

Adams on the other hand was sat on the floor, still in his EVA suit but his helmet and tool kit not in sight, presumably they had been left where they had sat on the Yosemite. As for their current location, he had no idea.
"I'm fine Commander... Where are we?"

Looking around, Sher’ra took a deep breath, “well, just to state the obvious, we seem to be on a Cardassian station and judging by its powered down state it’s clearly not DS9. Could this be Empok Nor?”

"To far away for conventional transporters and we would be suffering with some disorientation if it was a long range transport... I would be inclined to think this is the station we saw when the Copernicus was... attacked!"

Adams once again pitched in as she started to stand up from his sitting position on the floor.

The engineer pulled a tricorder from his belt and started to scan. "We aint in Kansas anymore kids. If we are on the station, it is in remarkable shape for being a derelict." the tricorder wizzed with the telltale sound of a scan. "All kinds of madness coming from this thing... can't make heads or tails."

Brodie looked around confused for a moment. " That's weird. I was explaining the operation of the thruster boot , But I never expected to be booted from the ship like that. "

Tamaska cast a glance towards Brodie as she rose to her feet from her seated position where the transporter had deposited her.

“So what’s the go Commander? Should we make our way to ops?” Sher’ra asked

"Well first off, lets go see what's behind door number one." Pointing to the one they were next to. "Then we can work from there. So , let's get to it." motioning towards it. Tamaska not knowing what was inside but definitely wanting to find out. She headed towards that door, rather determined to not just stand there.

"Commander... If I may. Perhaps Lieutenant Verona and I should go first!" Adams had stepped forward to stop the Command level officer from taking the lead. "Simply put, this is enemy territory and we have no idea what is beyond those doors. You are out leader and it is our duty to protect you!"

“That’s not a bad idea. If only I had more then my d'k tahg with me” Sher’ra said, pulling out her Klingon knife, “Not all of us Klingons like hand-to-hand combat”

Tamaska nodded, but gave a mental sigh, it was certainly something she could understand, what they were doing. She was on the other side of the coin previously. Now she got to see what the other side felt like.

Being the wider of the two Adams took the lead stepping forth through the doors which parted at his approach. The expansive corridor beyond was dark, shadows and it curved off in both directions.

"I think this is the station's commerce centre... What did they call it on Deep Space Nine... The Esplanade or something!"

“The Promenade” Sher’ra corrected as she stepped forward to stand beside Adams, “does anyone speak Cardassian? A little bit of light would be nice right now”

"Only made it to DS9 once or twice, wasn't really under great circumstances. Dated a Bajoran woman there for a bit. Didn't work out. Got a broken nose for my troubles." Jon continued scanning the hallway. "Give me a minute or two and I may be able to patch into it and turn on some lights. Surprised everything is running though."

“Well Bajorans do know a thing or two about noses” Sher’ra said as her eyes started to adjust to the lack of light. She could start to make out shapes but not enough detail to start moving around freely. “Interesting there doesn’t seem to be any emergency lighting”

Brodie mused to himself. " I've fought beside Bajoran females and they are great allies in a fight, But going up against one whose pissed off in the matters of the heart, No thanks. " Brodie looked startled for a moment. " Sorry, I didn't mean to think out loud like that. " He said sheepishly.

The door opened and Minka caught the tail end of the conversation. After everyone relaxed again that it was her, she groused. "Why did the transporter decide to transport me not with the rest of you. So you figured out this is Cardassian then? Looks like a shop back there. Underwear actually," she said. "I don't know enough Cardassian to try get anything working but here's some Bajoran for you Brodie ... Akah su quiver ul front of ruva bajoran senya

"Chief if memory serves there's a main computer terminal on the upper level and I just happened to find stairs in the shop it deposited me in. Just don't look at the knickers. Cardassian fashion .... ugggggly ....." she informed them.

Jon smiled at all of them. "Aye. Better to not wear any. Anyone coming with me or am I wandering off into the dark?"

Brodie Looked confused at the foreign phrase. " I've got no clue as to what you've just said. But the meaning of my statement is that I'd rather have a female as a friend or ally then angry with me because of a matter of the heart, Bajoran or otherwise. I'm not the type of guy that would trifle with the affections of a woman's heart. " Brodie picked up his gear pouch. " No Sir, You'll not go alone into the dark. I'm ready when you are. "

"With your leave Ma'am" He turned and looked at Commander Holt. "Promise I won't get into too much trouble."

Double doors could be seen a short distance away as someone stumbled from then clad in black and grey seemingly humanoid, clutching his forehead as if in pain.

Without warning the lights ignited, washing the expanse that was the Promenade in warm light allowing them a proper look and the person ahead of them. Dark skin, no hair and tell tale pointed ears.

"Commander..." T'Sehn straightened up, still trying to walk of the groggy feeling the phaser set on stun had left him with. "Lieutenant Tua and Haistro are within the Infirmary... Miss Brooks took it upon herself to stun us!"

Tamaska frowned slightly then shook her head, "We will get to the bottom of this, but Miss Brooks wouldn't have done something like that, unless there was a good reason. She is someone I trust." Tam added.

Brodie frowned and pulled his phaser out and reset it for stun setting. " I dislike the thought of firing upon our own people commander, But she is armed and may be controlled. " He looked to T'sehn " About how long ago do you think it was when she stunned you? "

"Wait, there was a fight? Why wasn't I invited?" Sher'ra asked sarcastically.

Tamaska shook her head, 'Ok. There will not be anyone shooting anyone else until we find out what happened, besides, I'm sure Doctor D'BrooNi isn't liking this sort of talk." looking towards Mel.

Tam tapped on her com badge to see if she could get an answer from someone.

"This is Commander Holt, if there are other crew members here on the station, please report!"

While Commander Holt spoke to people Minka moved towards T'Shen. "Charlie's not controlled. She's one of the stubbornest kids I've ever met. No one's getting inside her head and freaking her out. If she had to stun you she had good reason."

"Commander, the Ensign is correct. Miss Brooks was cognoscente throughout however Lieutenant Tua, Haistro and myself seemed to be victim of some form of invasive telepathic suggestion... It was somewhat unsettling" T'Sehn was starting to feel more like his original self, even if he was still a little thrown by the events and his own reactions to the mind control. "The others may need some medical attention but I am unclear as to the location of my medical kit!"

Inside the infirmary, Osil groaned as he finally came back to his senses. He sensed people outside and unsteadily climbed back to his feet, before staggering outside. "I'm not entirely sure what happened," he reported as he walked up to the newcomers, "all I could see was this looming shadow, it was overpowering. If we were a danger, Yeoman Brooks was correct in disabling us." He made a point of using her rank, even though to him she was still just his brother's stepdaughter-to-be and thus someone who needed protecting at all cost.

"Lieutenant..." T'Sehn had started to examine Osil's forehead. "By chance did you impact something with force upon being stunned? You appear to have a sizeable haematoma developing on your forehead!"

From the back of the group Adams called over to his friend. "He means you have another head growing... Dear god man. Its one hell of a lump! I can see it from here."

Osil blinked, turning black eyes on either man. "I don't know? Did I?" If he did, he had no memory of that, the last he remembered was Charlie turning his own weapon on him.

Tamaska looked at those gathering then she said to Jon and Brodie, "Stoun you and Brodie head to the computer area, the lights are on and go see what's up."

Then Tam changed her mind. "Actually Stoun meet up with Teach then you two can go check the core. Brodie I've got something else I need you to do."

“Where do you want me ma’am?” Minka asked.

Tam looked at those there, her brain now going into how to get everyone to survive this new state of events. "You and Brodie go see if you can get a replicator or whatever they have here to get some food working. Maybe they'll will have some drinks too something strong."
