| Personal History | From Outer Banks, North Carolina. Edward Teach is the direct descendant of Edward Teach AKA Blackbeard the pirate who died 22nd November 1718. His family has owned the land and built their home where Blackbeard died and has been there ever since. The females of the family line has always seemed to do well for themselves, The males however seem to either live a charmed life or a cursed one. Edward has a scar going across his throat from when he came to the aid of a tellirite crewmate who was being bullied by a pair of Nausicaans who slashed edwards throat during the fight. Edwards voice was affected and now sounds gruff and gravelly. He also refuses to allow the doctors to remove the scar as he keeps it as a reminder. He graduated the academy as a able crewmen and worked his way the ranks and then as a Non-Com. A Lt. Commander on his last ship thought Edward had good leadership ability and nominated him for OTS. Some would say he took the long road to become and officer. Now at age 30 he is a Ensign and assigned to the Copernicus. His desire is to serve Starfleet and sail between the Stars until the day he dies. |
